Last September 12, 2010 the Benildean Hope Scholars went to Pililia, Rizal for the tree planting activity. The La Salle Philippines community have a advocacy about the one million trees planted all over the world before the end of 2010 and I proudly to say that 250,000 trees over 1 million trees was planted by Benildean Community(http://1milliontreesandbeyond.com/one/) and I’m happy to be part of this activity.
At this time i still remember what was happened during our tree planting activity. We arrived in Pililia, Rizal it is already 11 am but where are not yet arrived in Hacienda Velasco, before that we need to travel again in the mini bus then walk a long miles before we went to farm of Hacienda Velasco. When we already arrived in Hacienda Velasco I feel the relaxing and harmonious sound of the wind and I say to my self that this activity were gonna be fun and exciting for us.
When we arrived in the farm there’s a brief orientation and instruction that given to us and also all the materials that we needed are already arranged. Thanks to the farmer of that farm.. There are very hospitality to us.

The trees are God’s great alphabet:
With them He writes in shining green
Across the world His thoughts serene.
